Andrew Samuel

(born in the beginning. Sixteenth century in Cracow, died. In 1549 in Kwidzyn) - Dominican, then Polish Lut heran clergyman, writer and activist reformation. Where and when he entered the church, the source did not give. Probably studied in Italy, in 1532 he received the bachelor of liberal arts at the Academy of Cracow. Since 1540, he was a preacher at the church parish in Poznan, enjoying great popularity. Already in 1541, he was accused of promoting Lutheranism. Although officially dismissed suspicions court bishops, but Samuel never returned to the pulpit and went to continue his studies in Wittenberg and Leipzig.
